Welcome to Harkenn Recycling. A Strong family run business in the town of Spalding, Lincolnshire. We have been trading in the Recycling business for ten years. Initially we recycled small amounts of waste, predominantly crop cover, pallets, farm packaging, soft plastics and cardboard. The company has grown year on year and so with its growth we now recycle huge volumes of mainly, cardboard, paper, soft and hard plastics. These products are graded in house, baled and shipped to our buyers or directly to UK based paper mills. The plastics are granulated through our on site granulating machines, separated into colours and then sent to be recycled into new products. We operate our own fleet of vehicles ranging from transits to 7.5 tonne lorries. These vehicles go between small local business’s and our larger clients who require removal of waste 24/7. Our USP is definitely being local and able to support and service well . Our clients are generally in the food industry or supply chain so when a customer needs clearing or their site needs space, Harkenn are in a position to make this happen immediately. Our objective, going forward, is to raise the profile of the recycling industry and hopefully encourage more to change their mindset from ” its always someone else’s problem to make a change to our planet ” to ” what can we do to make a change “. With our local recycling business we aim to enable our local customers to reduce costs associated to transport of waste which in turn will enable them to minimise environmental impact. Harkenn continuously invests to ensure consistent and sustainable growth and will continue to do so with the help of a great team.
